Position Overview

As a key member of the Intertape Polymer Group team, the Strategic Improvement Manager will drive excellence across the organization through employee engagement and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives that drive step-change improvements.
  • Support project sponsors and process owners in successful project execution and provide guidance on method implementation.
  • Lead site-wide continuous improvement activities, ensuring clear linkage to the value stream and corporate objectives.
  • Develop and maintain mechanisms to sustain progress, incorporating learning's and new methods into the site's performance system.
  • Align continuous improvement activities with corporate strategies, plans, and objectives through close coordination with the Corporate IPS CI Pillar Team.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma with equivalent experience and applicable certification required.
  • 5+ years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing, with demonstrated project management and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Continuous improvement experience required; lean manufacturing Six Sigma training preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Travel as needed, dictated by business requirements.
