Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Expert to join our team at Intertape Polymer Group (IPG). As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for driving excellence throughout the site through employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with site leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives that will provide a step-change improvement within the site.
  2. Assure execution of continuous improvement projects, supporting project sponsors or process owners in their successful completion.
  3. Provide site leadership of all continuous improvement activities within all areas of the organization and drive clear linkage of activities to the value stream of the enterprise.
  4. Implement and maintain a mechanism to sustain progress as the site gains experience with these methodologies.
  5. Drive alignment and effectiveness of continuous improvement activities with corporate strategies, plans, and objectives through close coordination with the Corporate IPS CI Pillar Team.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred. High school diploma with equivalent experience and applicable certification required as a minimum.
  • 5+ years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing and demonstrated project management and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Continuous improvement experience is required; lean manufacturing Six Sigma training preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
