About the Role

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is seeking a skilled professional to drive manufacturing excellence and process improvement. This role is based at our Milton, ON manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager to enhance manufacturing/business processes, data integrity, and standards deployment.
  • Work with the Kaizen team to facilitate/lead weekly Kaizen events and complete action items.
  • Optimize shop floor layouts to achieve maximum efficiency and minimal inventory.
  • Resolve issues, engage management, front office, and shop floor to implement change.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering for process improvement implementation.
  • Identify and eliminate waste in processes using the eight Eaton Lean tools.
  • Support all departments in achieving cost savings goals.
  • Champion new and innovative ideas, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in structured problem-solving exercises as required.
  • Train and onboard new hires on 5S and Lean tools.
  • Conduct hands-on 5S Kaizen actions on the shop floor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and three (3) years of experience utilizing lean tools in a manufacturing environment OR a college diploma in engineering technology or similar technical discipline.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship.
  • Must currently reside within an 80km radius of the working location to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering Technology or similar with one (1) year of experience utilizing lean tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience working in an assembly and/or fabrication environment.
  • Previous experience with internal audits (5S, ISO) & operational assessments.
  • Previous experience using AutoCAD/Inventor skills.
Essential Skills
  • Strong Mechanical/Electrical product knowledge.
  • Knowledge of digital/data analysis tools, such as Power BI/macros.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to present and facilitate in front of an audience.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
