Contract Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to support our Head of Payroll and Payroll Team Leader in ensuring seamless operations across the payroll function.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, refine, and roll out both existing and new payroll processes, striving for excellence alongside relevant compliance and legislative requirements.
- Deliver a professional and responsive payroll service to the business, meeting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Process and assist in the weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles, including EOM (End of Month) activities such as Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Third Party payments.
- Conduct testing for necessary upgrades or system patches.
- Assist with establishing robust payroll processes and improving existing processes.
- A Business or Payroll Administration qualification would be advantageous.
- Credible End to End payroll processing experience ideally within large, complex, and high-volume environments.
- A sound understanding of Industrial Awards/Enterprise Agreements (preferable).
- Advanced proficiency in use of Excel and ServiceNow.
