Sales Team Lead

New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart is seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to succeed in their roles.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and ensure that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Sell merchandise and provide exceptional customer service to our customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that our team is working together effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Standing for extended periods.
New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart is a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
