Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train staff, and authorize payments by cheque.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, establish work schedules, and organize and maintain inventory.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, and resolve customer requests and complaints.
  • Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of 3-4 people.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
