About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer – Vancouver Cancer Centre. As a Radiation Therapy Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering evidence-based standardized care and contributing to knowledge generation within our provincial Radiation Therapy program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with various types of cancer, including breast, lung, lymphoma, skin, HN, sarcoma, GI, GU, and CNS malignancies.
  • Participate in research, administrative, and educational activities, including faculty appointment and academic rank with UBC Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Radiation Oncology.
  • Collaborate with a team of 11 radiation oncology residents and 1-2 clinical fellows to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia.
  • Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
