The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of practical experience with tractor-trailer maintenance and be currently enrolled in an apprentice program. They will also have specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components, proficiency in shop tools, and basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.

This role involves assisting in the overhaul of major components, removing and replacing major components at the direction of a Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor, diagnosing and repairing various truck systems, performing routine maintenance, adjusting and replacing brakes, tightening bolts and screws, reassembling equipment, inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts, and using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments.
