Penske Truck Leasing, a leading provider of commercial truck leasing, rental, and maintenance services, is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic III to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers while ensuring the highest level of vehicle reliability and safety.
About the Role
We are offering a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of practical experience in tractor trailer maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class DZ license within 6 months are also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Use advanced tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, air conditioning, and other critical components.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
