Job Title: Executive Chef Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Indian Spice Cuisine Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to lead our culinary operations and take charge of menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Operations:
  • Plan, develop, and implement menus that showcase the diversity and richness of Indian cuisine.
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance.
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal.
  • Kitchen Management:
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock and waste.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Select, train, and supervise a team of skilled chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Menu Development:
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop new menu concepts, taking into account customer preferences, dietary requirements, and seasonal availability of ingredients.
  • Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing revenue streams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering establishment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (e.g., hospitality, hotel management).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, appliances, and software systems.
  • Possess a valid Food Safety Certificate.

This role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including medical insurance, paid vacation time, and professional development opportunities.
