The role of Avionics Systems Integration Engineer at FLYHT Aerospace Solutions presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge aeronautical products. Job OverviewThis position involves providing engineering services for the integration of FLYHT's aeronautical products into various aircraft types, working closely with our R&D and Quality Assurance departments to design, test, and roll out our products. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on designs and substantiations, prepare engineering data including reports and drawings, conduct airworthiness testing, and provide technical liaison both at home and abroad.
About the JobWe are looking for an exceptional individual who possesses a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field, preferably in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Your proficiency in AutoCAD, DraftSight, and Microsoft Office suite is essential, as well as experience with communication, navigation, audio systems, flight management systems, aircraft electronic flight bags, and systems integration on fixed-wing aircraft. Commercial aircraft experience is also highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Create and check engineering documents and technical drawings, including wiring diagrams, wire routing diagrams, cable harness assemblies, installation drawings, electrical load analyses, systems & equipment substantiation reports, weight & balance amendments, installation instructions, flight manual supplements, and instructions for continued airworthiness.
- Provide customer and installation support both on-site and remote, occasionally outside office hours and on weekends on a rotating basis within the team.
