Job SummaryThe Instrumentation & Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing instrumentation and control systems, working in compliance with recognized industry standards and safety regulations. You will also review and check technical vendor submittals, prepare instrumentation calculations, and provide field support through construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Review and check technical vendor submittals, preparing instrumentation calculations as required.
- Provide field support through construction and commissioning, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with internal project team members and external clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with ongoing regulatory requirements and industry standard best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of engineering experience, with supervisory duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a range of personalities.
- Valid Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator's License for independent travel to project sites and other office locations.
- Office and worksite environments.
- Manual dexterity to use computer and peripherals.
- Work hours may exceed standard work week, periodically.
