Instrumentation and Controls Specialist

Wood is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Specialist to join our team in Sarnia, ON. As a key member of our Oil & Gas Canada team, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex projects and supporting the growth of our business.
Our projects team has a strong history of delivering large-scale projects in the Canadian oilsands, pipelines, and refinery infrastructure. We are committed to innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is possible to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
As an Instrumentation and Controls Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from refining and petrochemical facilities to gas processing and midstream operations. Your expertise in ASME, TSSA, and CSA codes and directives will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems. If you have a passion for problem-solving and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation Technologist / Engineer from an accredited University or College.
- Minimum of 6 + yrs. Industry experience
- Good understanding and familiarity of ASME, TSSA and CSA, codes and directives.
- Industry experience: Refining, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, and/or Midstream facilities.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools) is an asset.
- Registration through PEO as a or Limited License is an asset.
