At Camp Cadicasu, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Cabin Residency Program Manager. This is a full-time year-round position that requires an on-site residency during June, July, and August in a private cabin.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be entitled to paid time off and other benefits.

Job Description

The Cabin Residency Program Manager will oversee all finances, marketing, IT, HR, and communications. They will work closely with the Executive Director and the Camp Operations Director to develop and execute the camp's strategic vision. The successful candidate will also lead business strategy development and implementation aligned with the camp's mission.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A University Degree in a related field (e.g., Recreation Management, Business Administration).
  • At least 5 years of experience in recreation camp management, program management, and/or administration.
  • Proven leadership skills in a non-profit and/or camp setting.
  • Criminal Reference Check with the Vulnerable Sector Search & Child Intervention Check.
  • Alberta Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to acquire).
  • Reliable 4x4 Vehicle to Access Camp in Winter (or willingness to acquire).

Camp Cadicasu is a year-round outdoor education centre located in Kananaskis. We provide a haven for young people to experience the outdoors, learn earth skills, and make new friends. Our high self-imposed standards of success have earned us high accolades both locally and internationally.

Fundraising and Development

You will be responsible for finding, writing, and submitting grant applications to government and private foundations. You will also create corporate sponsorship packages and secure sponsors.
