Job Summary:

The HSSEQ & Facilities Coordinator is a key member of the Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Facilities, and Quality department at K+S. This role is responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating department activities, and managing facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HSSEQ department, including document management, travel coordination, supply ordering, calendar management, expense claims, and document preparation.
  • Coordinate maintenance and operations of facilities, including contractor management and fleet vehicle management.
  • Manage HSSEQ data and KPIs, including reports to regulatory agencies and parent company.
  • Support the management and tracking of consultants and third-party service providers.
  • Assist in tracking, monitoring, and reporting of incidents, training, security access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency on-call.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an office setting.
  • Office administration certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an industrial setting with knowledge of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Facilities, and Quality areas is considered an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills, with ability to independently manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience managing facilities/offices is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (occasional monthly travel to the Bethune mine site will be required).
