Genuine Comfort is a leading distributor of Air Conditioners (AC) and Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) across Canada & Mid-North USA.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic sales leader to spearhead the activities of the Revenue Department, creating and executing the strategic plans for marketing and sales. As a Director of Sales, you will grow and foster a process-driven, committed, and accountable sales team, providing coaching and support to ensure their success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, setting KPIs and sales targets
- Identify gaps in knowledge and approach, creating ongoing sales training to meet these needs
- Design and implement a proven sales process, ensuring alignment with the short and long-term goals of the organization
- Develop deep insights and industry knowledge to identify new market and product opportunities
- Co-create and approve marketing strategy and messaging
- Prepare and present dashboard reports, scorecards, budgets, projections, and annual sales
- Proven success leading and growing B2B sales teams
- Expertise in strategic planning and execution for measurable revenue growth
- Ability to align sales initiatives with the organization's vision
- Insights into what makes a great sales representative and how to align individual ambitions with the collective goals of the team and the organization
- Ability to gain trust and build relationships at any level, navigating customer hesitance with creative solutions
This is a 4-day on-site role with the option of working remotely on Fridays. Occasional travel to conferences is required.
