We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at KMS Kelowna Medical Supplies. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role

In this permanent position, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as cleaning and maintaining fabrication and laboratory equipment. You will also supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians, and order supplies and equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to pharmacists, including tasks such as ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Clean and maintain fabrication and laboratory equipment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and be willing to train. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, with 30-35 hours worked per week. The language of work is English, and we welcome applicants who are fluent in English.
