Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Education Programs Director to join our team at Black Belt Taekwondo. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing programs and services, providing technical and professional advice, and leading the daily operations of our sport or recreational organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development
    • Develop and implement programs and services that align with the organization's mission and goals
    • Conduct needs assessments and market research to identify opportunities for program growth and development
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of professional coaches and athletes
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective program management
  • Communication and Representation
    • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions
    • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and community groups
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
    • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to ensure the organization's financial sustainability
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, sports management, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in a related field, such as sports management, education, or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
