Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing programs and services, providing technical and professional advice, and leading a team of coaches and athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and manage programs and services that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Leadership: Provide technical and professional advice to coaches and athletes, and lead a team of professionals to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Policy Development: Develop policies and procedures to implement programs and services, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment: Recruit professional coaches and athletes to join the team.
  • Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of a sport or recreational organization, including budgeting, financial management, and human resources.
  • Communication: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Training and Development: Instruct students on behavior, personal development, and athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Sports, Education.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000.
  • Supervision: 16-20 people.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Martial arts instructor Certification.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Large workload, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Physically demanding.
