Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Thai Basil Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our customers.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism within the team.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our business operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
