Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to join our team at Nilta Flooring Inc. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of construction projects from start to finish.

About the Role:
  • Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
  • Location: Various locations (may require frequent travel)
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and be able to demonstrate expertise in areas such as budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and submit accurate budget estimates for construction projects.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and prepare detailed schedules and milestones for projects, ensuring timely completion.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and supervise subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions with clients and suppliers.
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports on project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, business administration).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and Word.
