Overview

CAIRO DEVELOPMENT LTD is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish.



Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, ensuring accurate and timely completion.


  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to meet project requirements.


  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and timely completion.


  • Develop and implement construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.


  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.


  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring adherence to industry standards.


  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage project data and communicate with stakeholders.


  • Analyze data and information to identify areas for improvement and optimize project outcomes.


  • Prepare regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting project progress, challenges, and opportunities.


  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, meeting project deadlines and deliverables.


  • Maintain internal record-keeping systems to track project progress and ensure compliance with regulations.


  • Support the development and implementation of risk management plans to mitigate potential project risks.


  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.




Requirements

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.


  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.


  • First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines and deliverables.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
