Job Overview

Cairo Development Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of construction projects.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings.
  • Plan and manage budgets.
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs.
  • Develop risk management plans.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
  • Prepare purchase orders.
  • Office management.
  • Maintain internal record-keeping system.
  • Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
  • Charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders.
  • Manage labor and spontaneous normal deliveries.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Degree in a related field, such as construction management or civil engineering.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
  • Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, large caseload, overtime required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, SharePoint.
  • Hand tools.
  • Project management.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Owning a vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel.
