Executive Pastry Professional

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Professional to join our team at La Bosco Bakery & Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, and sweet goods.
About the Role- This is a permanent full-time position with a guaranteed 30-44 hours per week.
- The ideal candidate will have 2 years or more of experience in a similar role and hold a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality pastries and baked goods.
- Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years or more of experience in a similar role.
- La Bosco Bakery & Cafe is a fast-paced bakery and cafe environment with a focus on providing high-quality products and excellent customer service.
The estimated salary for this role is $35,000-$45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
