Senior Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Pastry Chef to join our team at La bosco Bakery &Cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, with a focus on creating high-quality baked goods and desserts.
About the RoleThe Senior Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading our pastry team, developing new recipes, and ensuring that all pastries and desserts meet our high standards. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 30-44 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement new pastry recipes, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Supervise and train junior pastry staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we always have a sufficient stock of essential ingredients
- Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative dessert menus and promotions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a senior pastry chef, preferably in a similar restaurant or bakery setting
- Demonstrated expertise in pastry arts, including cake decorating, sugar work, and bread making
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- A valid English language proficiency, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
