About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as experience in the natural and organic channel.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual business plans for key accounts
- Presents promotions, pricing, and merchandising to assigned accounts on a timely basis
- Manage all trade spending within budgeted limits while delivering to client priorities
- Execute and monitor all client marketing/digital initiatives
- Conduct detailed ROI analytics & post-event analysis, staying within client budgets
- Advise customers on customer category dynamics and other category management practices including assortment and POG development
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate account/client needs on an ongoing basis
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years in Natural and Organic channel, with CPG Food experience preferred
- Analytical thinker, strategic problem solver, works independently, makes decisions where appropriate and meets predetermined and unexpected deadlines
- Excellent presentation and selling skills
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize key performance drivers for the Clients
- Demonstrates highly developed written (business and creative) and verbal communication skills, tact, assertiveness, and business acumen
