Senior Capital Project Analyst

This role requires the candidate to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where they will be part of the Capital Programs Division within the Controllers department. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from business planning to post-project appraisal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze new projects proposed for inclusion in the business plan.
  • Review and analyze capital projects proposed for funding actions.
  • Represent Controllers on various project gate reviews.
  • Review complex questions related to capital projects and prepare recommendations for Controllers management.
  • Provide policy and project funding guidance as required.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • Perform detailed analysis of post-project performance and present findings to management.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or engineering, with a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA being desirable.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in various industries, including financial analysis, project evaluations, project controls, process/change management, or strategy/management consulting.
  • Possess leadership skills and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems, which are highly desirable.
  • Show significant experience within one or more industries, potentially allowing you to be considered a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients and excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • Be a team player capable of working across business lines to add value and achieve team objectives.
  • Have the ability to plan and coordinate your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strategy, corporate finance, and accounting skills, including the ability to evaluate industry and individual company information.
  • Be capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Possess demonstrated project management skills and the ability to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.
  • Be willing to travel as required.
