Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst

The Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective business operations of Toronto Hydro's Capital program. This position is responsible for data gathering, analysis, and reporting to identify gaps and trends in the Capital and Maintenance Work Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis of gaps and trends for various projects and programs.
  • Prepare reports on project and program status and outcomes.
  • Manage contractor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance governance and compliance.
  • Design and maintain databases and automated reports to support leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and process mapping activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project coordination and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain reporting applications, forms, and customized databases.
  • Perform periodic analysis and monitoring of operations data for quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • Three to five years of experience in data analysis, gap analysis, and reporting.
  • Three to five years of experience in business process redesign, analysis, and project management.
  • Two or more years of experience in a construction project environment.
  • Class G license strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP enterprise modules is an asset.
  • Project management experience and certifications (CBAP, PMP) are assets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and business solution development skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, and MS Word.

Toronto Hydro offers a Hybrid Work Arrangement, allowing for remote work up to three days per week. Employees are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
