Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic In-Store Sampling Representative to promote our brands and products within a Big Box store. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, creating memorable shopping experiences, and driving product awareness and sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-store product demonstrations to showcase food products and toys, providing customers with hands-on experiences and product samples.
  • Engage with shoppers, offering product information, answering questions, and encouraging purchases.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the brands and products being promoted to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Set up and manage sampling stations efficiently, ensuring proper sanitation and food safety protocols are followed when handling food samples.
  • Support the sales process by directing interested customers to the appropriate aisles or sections for purchasing the products.
  • Comply with company guidelines and store policies, ensuring that all demonstrations meet legal, health, and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Food Handler Certification is a must.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers and communicate product benefits clearly and enthusiastically.
  • Customer service-oriented personality with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Organizational skills to set up and manage sampling stations efficiently.
  • Attention to detail to adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, especially when handling food samples.
  • Sales-driven approach to promoting products and driving sales through engaging demonstrations.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift products or promotional materials (up to 25 lbs).
Work Environment
  • Work will take place inside stores during peak shopping hours.
  • Evening and weekend shifts are required.
  • Employees will be expected to wear branded uniforms during demonstrations.
