We're seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team at Urban Barn in Nanaimo, BC. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in helping customers create their dream homes by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide customers in selecting the perfect furniture and home decor items for their needs
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for every customer, ensuring their visit is enjoyable and informative
  • Establish strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and drive repeat business
  • Process transactions, including purchases, exchanges, and returns, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store, ensuring a positive shopping environment
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a furniture or home decor environment
  • A passion for interior design and merchandising, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and iPads
  • A flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
