Rail Infrastructure Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rail Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve leading the installation of signal systems, overseeing employee supervision, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our operations team, contributing to the safe and efficient transportation of goods across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management: Lead assigned personnel to ensure signal construction work is performed with CN's and the Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) standards and in conjunction with applicable collective bargaining agreements.
  • Safety Compliance: Build safety compliance and improve safety results through efficiency testing and safety walkabouts.
  • Capital Projects: Plan, implement, and handle capital projects to ensure execution follows CN and FRA standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in signals and communications, with at least 2 years in signal construction and supervisory roles.
  • Education/Certification/Designation: High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED), 2-year Technical Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
Salary and Benefits

$95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
