Job Summary

The University of British Columbia is seeking an experienced Educational Program Coordinator to join our team at the Centre for Health Education Scholarship. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting the coordination of educational programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the overall administration of educational programs, including the Clinical Educator Fellowship Program and the Master of Health Professions Education Canada Program.
  • Provide administrative support to program directors, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and preparing reports.
  • Develop and maintain databases to track program participant information, including contact details, tuition claims, and educational teaching logs.
  • Coordinate logistics for program-related events, including room bookings, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Provide financial support, including processing expenses, tuition reimbursements, and honorariums.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including Maastricht University and Western University.

Requirements:

  • High school graduation, plus two-year post-secondary diploma, plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in a professional office environment, with knowledge of UBC University and Faculty of Medicine policies and procedures.
  • Ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and OneNote at an intermediate level.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
