We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team at Interior Health Authority as Healthcare Assistants (Patient Care Aides). As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide patient care within our hospital setting, working under the direction of RNs and LPNs to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients, promoting their independence and well-being

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Provide emotional and social support to patients, enhancing their overall care experience

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education

• Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide/Home Support Worker Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience

• BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry

• Current valid BC Drivers' License and use of a reliable vehicle (for Community Health Workers)

Competitive Wages:

• $29.83/hour
