Job Summary

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide administrative support to the Diagnostic Imaging team. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling appointments, communicating with staff, patients, and physicians' offices, and organizing medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration: Ensure accurate and timely registration of patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Book and manage appointments for diagnostic imaging procedures, communicating effectively with staff, patients, and physicians' offices.
  • Medical Records Management: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients.
  • Communication: Provide excellent communication skills to ensure smooth interactions with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Completion of a Medical Terminology Course
  • Able to keyboard at 45 wpm
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
