Administrative Office Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Office Assistant to support our team at Mor Logistics Manitoba Limited. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 32 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage contracts and maintain inventory
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages
- Perform data entry and provide customer service
- Recruit and hire staff, as needed
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and oversee payroll administration
- Arrange travel and related itineraries
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
Work Environment
Our office is located in Manitoba, Canada, and the successful candidate will work in an English-speaking environment.
