Nurse - Youth Residential Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in the Youth Residential program. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to youth clients engaged in addiction treatment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client-centered care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors. Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to youth clients in a residential setting
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
- Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to support client recovery
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program
- Minimum one year of experience in individual and group counseling
- Proven knowledge of current nursing theory and practice
- Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba
- Knowledge of the addictions field and experience in mental health
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English
- French and Indigenous language skills are considered an asset
