Event Coordinator for Leadership Excellence Awards

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to manage the WCT Annual Awards Gala, ensuring its successful execution and memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in organizing large-scale events, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Event Coordination: Collaborate with the WCT team to coordinate event details, ensure timely completion of tasks, and manage volunteer logistics.
  • Week Before the Event: Finalize last-minute logistics, supplies, and tasks, ensuring all materials, décor, and signage are ready for event day.
  • Event Day: Manage on-site logistics, volunteers, and staff, ensuring smooth execution from setup to the final moments of the event.
  • Post-Event Activities: Assist with a post-event review to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the WCT team and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Asana and other project management tools.
Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
