Human Resources Coordinator

Your Role
As a Human Resources Coordinator at Gensler, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Toronto Human Resources team. This includes working closely with the HR Manager and teams to implement HR programs, create and maintain reports, and ensure the accuracy of HRIS data and personnel files.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Gensler Toronto functions, working closely with the HR Manager and teams
- Assist with the implementation of HR programs, including onboarding, annual reviews, compensation planning, and pipeline development
- Create and maintain periodic and ad hoc reports regarding metrics, employee demographics, salary, staffing, and productivity
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of HRIS data and personnel files
- Gather and synthesize team member activity, including transfers, leave of absences, new hires, and departures
- Develop research and special projects as needed
- Assist with learning coordination in the office
- Support Toronto HR with administrative needs, including scheduling meetings and correspondence
- Independently create presentations and internal correspondence
- Participate in staffing and other operational functions as appropriate
- Respond to employee questions and requests regarding benefits, payroll, and policies
- Understand all Gensler policies and ensure compliance
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience working in a team environment at a professional organization; some Human Resources experience required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of InDesign a plus
- Experience with Workday or similar HCM
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
- Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines
