About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at YUMMY PIZZA AND DONAIR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare and submit reports on key performance indicators, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and customer focus
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
