Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Summerland Management Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding tasks.
