Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Summerland Management Ltd. as a key member of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members in a fast-paced food service environment.
    • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Food Service Operations
    • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food service operations.
    • Coordinate and supervise the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient meal preparation.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
