About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Inn On The Lake. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean environment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are spotless and ready for use.
  • Store cleaned dishes and utensils in designated areas, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Scour pots and pans to remove any food residue, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following proper food safety guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly, following proper protocols.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and free of debris.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, following proper food safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliability, team player, and dependability
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Work Environment

As a Dishwasher at Inn On The Lake, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
