We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher Assistant to join our team at Inn On The Lake. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Store cleaned dishes and utensils in designated areas.
  • Scour pots and pans to ensure they are free of food residue.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Reliability, team player, dependability, and positive attitude.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
