About the Role

We seek a sales professional residing in the greater Toronto area, equipped with creativity, energy, and an outgoing personality. The ideal candidate will have experience in simplifying complex investment concepts and possessing a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior sales leaders on executing best practices and optimal territory management;
  • Primary territory coverage includes downtown Toronto, North York, Mississauga, and other areas of the Greater Toronto Area;
  • Design and implement business plans for ETF sales campaigns with concise reporting of activities and sales results;
  • Meetings include one-on-one, group presentations, roadshows, social activities with advisors in the IIROC dealer channel;
  • Nurture existing clients and develop strong relationships with new prospects and top advisors;
  • Participate in weekly sales calls for territory overview, identifying key opportunities and action planning for closing sales.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate fund features, performance, and portfolio manager views to investors and advisors;
  • Assist in developing marketing documents supporting our product suite;
  • Provide feedback from meetings contributing to potential new product investments;
  • Liaise with contacts in the investment advisor community to obtain market intelligence;
  • Offer input for new product documentation and website development recommendations.

Your Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of outside wholesaling experience in the investment funds industry, including a comprehensive understanding of ETFs;
  • Deep relationships with IIROC advisors and a strong grasp of dealer platforms;
  • Extensive knowledge of financial markets, competitor products, and industry trends;
  • High motivation and energy levels, with a proactive approach to generating activity and sales;
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar contact management systems is required.
