About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Fox Creek Esso. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Sales: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor Store Operations: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and monitor all entrances and exits to ensure a secure shopping environment.
  • Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store, and provide support during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
