About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Fox Creek Liquor Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor Store Operations: Maintain a safe and secure store environment, monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary.
  • Verify Age Requirements: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset, but not required. Permanent employment with a retail business.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
