Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Worldsource Wealth Management. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in working with various departments and business lines to provide Level II support, document requirements, manage releases, and ensure all requests are documented and prioritized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize customer requests to ensure successful resolution.
  • Problem Resolution: Set priorities for Level II problem resolutions, monitor progress, and apply escalation procedures as needed.
  • Solution Development: Liaise with business areas and IT to evaluate and develop solutions based on requirements.
  • Requirements Management: Manage requirements gathering for scheduled upgrades, migrations, and approved projects.
  • Analysis and Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate the impact of application enhancements and updates.
  • Research and Recommendations: Research, evaluate, and recommend new products and upgrades.
  • Defect Management: Investigate and document system bugs.
  • Business and Systems Requirements: Work closely with various departments to understand and document business and systems requirements for existing systems, processes, and system implementations.
  • Documentation: Produce technical and descriptive documentation.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training users in the use of applications and computer systems.
  • Time and Resource Management: Organize individual time, work, and resources to accomplish objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Development Opportunities: Demonstrate a rational and organized approach to work and identify development opportunities.
  • Technical Input and Support: Interact with the testing team and/or vendors to provide technical input, support, and analysis on applications.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience within the investment industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Adobe Design products and forms management, Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio. Analytical problem-solving skills. Experience in SQL and data warehouses an asset.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Dataphile OpenView and Microsoft CRM Dynamics an asset.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work in a team environment with strong communication skills.
