Chief Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fundraising professional to join our team as Chief Development Officer. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our fundraising programs and developing strategies to achieve our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve annual and long-term goals.
  • Lead a team of fundraising professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution of fundraising initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
  • Develop and implement effective stewardship and recognition programs to cultivate and retain donors.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote our fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage and analyze fundraising data to inform strategic decisions and optimize fundraising efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success in leading fundraising teams and achieving financial goals.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with fundraising software and technology, including Raiser's Edge.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $155,000 - $170,000.
