About the Role

The Burlington Performing Arts Centre seeks a highly skilled and experienced leader to serve as the Chief Arts Administrator. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality arts programming, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for artists, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the Centre's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver arts programming, events, and services
  • Manage the Centre's finances, including budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing
  • Build and maintain relationships with local, national, and international arts organizations, government agencies, and community groups
  • Oversee the Centre's marketing and communications efforts to promote arts programming and events

About the Centre

The Burlington Performing Arts Centre is a dynamic and vibrant arts organization located in the heart of downtown Burlington. We are committed to providing a diverse range of arts programming and services that engage and enrich the community.

Our state-of-the-art facility features a 718-seat main theatre, a flexible black box studio theatre, and a spacious lobby area perfect for receptions, exhibitions, and corporate events. Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in arts administration, with a strong background in leadership, finance, marketing, and community engagement. A degree in arts management, business administration, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a passionate advocate for the arts.
