About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at GKL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Establish and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet production schedules and quality standards.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.
    • Train and develop kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food products meet quality control standards and are prepared in a safe and sanitary environment.
    • Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Inventory and Budgeting
    • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize costs.
    • Prepare and submit accurate budget and cost estimates for kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including inventory, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on kitchen performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluency in English.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a high level of attention to detail.
